Is it Christmas?

There are lots of jangly bells behind every track on the radio. People have hung up flashing lights on their houses. It snowed, now it's melting. The shops are jam packed with mums and small, tired children. It would appear that these are signs of Christmas.

I would like to have some different signs of Christmas. How about friends getting together for mulled wine and carol singing? Can we make just a few cards for the people who need to know we care? How about just a few small gifts instead of all this stress?

Ideally I would like two things for Christmas: a good time with family and time to think about new beginnings.
